Name: Dana Armstrong (First name is pronounced and sounds similar to “Donna”. Both “a”s are soft vowels, the “ah” sound. It’s a Macedonian name.)

Dana was born in Hammond, Indiana and lived in Indiana until 1992. She moved to California in February 1992 and lived all over the state for the next fifteen years. She was married in 1994 and then Divorced in 2002 from her first husband. Along the way she faced many life challenges and nearly died in December of 1999. She was in a coma and on life support from December 8th – 24th 1999 and then spent the next ten months learning how to walk, talk, everything all over again. But she made it and it only made her stronger and appreciate the preciousness that is the gift of life. Even though she Divorced not long after the hardest time in her life, she never lost her positive outlook.

However, life changes and “fate” steers the unwitting and in August 2003 a “Fan” who had read one of her stories (Greenlings) e-mailed her and over the years they became very good friends.

In September, 2007 due to changes in her family and the crashing housing economy she picked up and moved east again to try and reestablish roots in an area that was not quite as expensive to live as California. Along the way, she stopped and met in person that friend she’d made back in 2003… It was fate working again.

From Friends to Lovers… romance found the romance writer. That fan, John Armstrong proposed in October 2007 and they were married on May 24th, 2008.

Life sometimes really does read like a cheap dime store romance novel.

She currently resisted in Louisville with John and their “fat and fluffy” kitties. Needy, Jack and Krishna.
