I wrote a much lamer, much shorter, skip right to the good part version of this in a spiral notebook way, way, way back in the 1980′s…

Okay… ever have one of those moments where your brain derails and suddenly a little unanswered mystery you’ve had in the back of your mind for years suddenly resolves in an explosion of clarity and all you can do is sit there and go NO FUCKING WAY!!!!!!!!

I just had one of those unsolved mysteries answered and fandoms collide in the process.
